Our students can help with:
- Update PC operating systems.
- Check for viruses and malware.
- Diagnose internet connectivity issues.
- Optimize computer function.
- Performing Windows upgrades (if computer hardware is compatible).
What to bring: Your device, its power source/cable, a backup device (i.e. flash drive) and contact information. Students need full access to devices, so if you are not the owner and/or do not know the password/passcode, students cannot work on it.
Proceeds help fund Gateway’s dig.IT club, allowing students to compete in state- and national-level information technology events. Participants are encouraged to contribute $20 per device or computer worked on.
